I found some information about hexediting and after some digging was able to make the dwarf give me anything i wanted, including non-mithril weapons, and even items like antidotes and healing drops. SF2edit was an option, but i really wanted somehow make that damn dwarf succomb to my will after causing myself and so many others so much grief. so i did some looking into easier ways to get the desired weapons. Even using an emulator with savestates i was spending way to much time to get what i wanted.
